My highlight of last week was to speak to the ladies at #CAROUFEMME Fireside Chat of Carousell Group.
My heart was lit up as I shared my stories and held a safe space for women from many countries to share theirs.
The topic was "Growing confidence at work". But we went much deeper than that, exploring many important questions, amongst them are:
- How can we free ourselves from fears of being judged in order to raise our voice and make a contribution?
- What is the difference between perfectionism and striving for excellence? How do we let go of the first?
- How can we break free from the expectations from our parents and society to live true to ourselves?
At the end of the chat, we raised our collective glasses (and water bottles).
